- Can I take SomaTrim if I am allergic to whey?
As we do not know which particular ingredient of protein or milk protein the individual might be allergic to and the complementary amino acid isolate is whey derived, individuals who are known to have milk or whey protein allergies should not take this product.
- Are there any medical conditions or other products that may cause adverse reactions?
No, both of these products can be taken in conjunction with any other products and there are no known medical contraindications other than allergies to the specific constituents of the individual products.
- Are there any side effects to taking SomaTrim?
There should not be any side effects whatsoever when taking SomaTrim other than weight loss!
- Can I take SomaTrim if I am nursing or pregnant?
No, SomaTrim is not recommended if you are pregnant or nursing.
- Are there any recommended supplements I should be taking with SomaTrim?
Everyone should be taking vitamins and antioxidants such as SomaVit and SomaLife Super X or SomaLife Super Xc. - When is the best time to take SomaTrim?
SomaTrim should be taken 15-30 minutes before eating.
- Why do I need to take it 15-30 minutes before my meals?
To allow time for absorption of the active ingredients and improve the sense of having eaten sufficiently early on in the meal (called satiety). Thereby helping to minimize your calorie intake.
- How long should I take SomaTrim for before expecting results?
We recommend taking SomaTrim for at least 6 months to see optimal results and SomaTrim for maintenance thereafter. - Can I take other dietary supplements at the same time I take SomaTrim?

- Why should the product be taken on an empty stomach?

- Do I need to take SomaTrim with a full glass of water?
Yes, this helps with rapid absorption of the dietary supplement along with the other benefits of added fluid intake and hydration.
- Can I take SomaTrim with other beverages? (i.e., grapefruit juice)
It is preferable that you take it with water as nearly all the other beverages have a caloric value. Even grapefruit juice has a fairly substantial amount of natural sugar in it so water is the preferred source of fluids.
- How is SomaTrim different from other similar products?

- What is Body Mass Index?
Body Mass Index is measured in kilograms per square meter of body surface area. In the SomaSlim handbook it has been converted to a non-metric measure more familiar to North Americans, but essentially it's a relationship of your height to girth and weight expressed as a useful number from which risk of problems secondary to obesity and being overweight can be calculated.
- What is the shelf life of SomaTrim?
SomaTrim will last 4-7 years under ideal conditions however Health Canada mandates that all nutraceuticals are assigned a shelf life of 3 years, or less, regardless of their actual expiry date.
- Where is SomaTrim manufactured?
SomaTrim is manufactured in North America in GMP certified facilities.
- Why is SomaTrim not available in Canada?
SomaTrim is not available in Canada as L-Carnitine is a prescription drug in Canada. SomaSlim C is available in Canada, which has L-Carnitine substituted with Phaseolus vulgaris, which is an effective carbohydrate blocker.
- Is there additional information available about the products?
There is a 22 page handbook entitled "The SomaSlim System", produced by SomaLife that is included with the first order of SomaSlim C, SomaSlim or SomaTrim.
- Should I consult my health care professional before starting SomaTrim?
Anyone who is overweight should have a health assessment prior to starting any weight loss program as being overweight itself can contribute to many problems, some of which may need to be addressed along with the weight loss.
